Following Mr. Lee’s passing in 2021, his devoted wife Gloria Lee committed herself to keeping his work and vision alive. With determination and love, she has taken his art across the country — ensuring that his voice and artistry continue to inspire new generations of viewers, collectors, and students.

In July 2024, Mr. Lee’s niece Lakerra (“Kerra”) Grindstaff joined Gloria in the mission to preserve and expand his artistic legacy. Together, they are building upon Mr. Lee’s lifelong dream — establishing the gallery as a cultural hub that celebrates art, storytelling, and community education through exhibitions, partnerships, and creative projects that honor his enduring impact.
